Julie Ridlon, owner and chef of Chanterelle
Catering, has adopted St. Louis as her home. She
regularly supports culinary education as a way to
enhance and give back to her adopted community.
Through the years Julie has taught at COCA
Camp..."Not Every Tomato Is the Same," Ice Cream
Camp, Advanced Culinary Camp and after-school
classes to inner-city children. The past 8 years she
has cooked for 600 guests at St. Louis Friends of
James Beard Picnic which raises monies for
culinary projects in St. Louis.

Julie has been a presenter onstage for national
conferences, taught in cooking schools throughout
the US, in addition to directing chefs for St. Louis
Food and Wine Show since its inception in 2001.For
seven years she was a personal chef for some of St.
Louis's prominent families, including the CFO of
Anheuser-Busch. Creating individualized menus
and cooking with all her senses, choosing the best
foods in season and preparing dishes that are
delectable - this is Julie's forte.

Vegetarians and vegans, and any other dietary
considerations are happily accommodated. Julie
Ridlon is the co-founder of Clayton Farmer's Market,
St. Louis' first growers- only market that has premium
quality meats,cheeses and produce from the St. Louis
area. Every week during the growing season
Julie selects the freshest foods to cook.
Goats beard farmstead cheeses,  MVP's organic produce,
Ozark Forest's organic shiitake mushrooms..
and many, many more provide the palate
for the culinary art for which
